Governance factors strongly influence the adequacy of public services. The importance of accountability relationships in effective service delivery cannot be under estimated.

Effective participation of the community in Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Evaluation of service delivery is equally important.

Using proven methodologies we conduct Research and Evaluate programmes on Governance and Accountability.

Relevant Professional Experience
  • Tanzania

    AcT Tanzania and Overseas Development Institute (ODI) collaborative study titled ‘Unblocking Results: how can aid address governance constraints in public service delivery?’ We led two Tanzania local case studies that sought to broaden the evidence base and increase understanding of how aid can make public services more effective.

  • Tanzania, Zanzibar

    Carried out the Final Evaluation of the Access to economic integrity and social justice for all through inter-faith approach to advocacy, fair distribution of resources, accountability and service of public interest in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. This work was commissioned by the Norwegian Church Aid.

  • Tanzania

    Carried out Mid Term Evaluation of Save the Children Tanzania Giving Rights to the Silent Majority: Children in Tanzania 2009-2012. The Evaluation was conducted under the auspicies of AMCA Inter-Consult Limited.

  • Tanzania

    Carried out end of project evaluation of the Marie Stopes Tanzania, sexual reproductive health and rights project. The project titled ‘Creating an enabling environment for young people through advocating for political commitment to address their sexual reproductive health rights in Tanzania’. The project was conducted in Arumeru, Simanjiro, Kibaha and Bagamoyo Districts in Tanzania. UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) supported the project financially.

  • Tanzania

    Midterm Project Evaluation for the Tanzania Women Lawyers Association (TAWLA) project titled ‘Enhancing Good Governance, Accountability, Gender Equity and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights’. The project was supported by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and was carried out in four regions of Tanzania including Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma and Tanga.

  • Kenya

    Mid term evaluation for the Diakonia project titled ‘Building and Amplifying Women’s voices in Economic and Political Development in Kenya and Uganda’. The project was implemented by FIDA-K, WPAK and AMWIK with funding from the Netherlands Government Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
